13 Fictional Places Where We'd Totally Love to Hang Out

$

Doesn't it sometimes seem like our favorite places to hang out aren't as cool those we see on TV?

Why is it that the local diner never quite lives up to Monk's or Luke's?

Is any bar quite as trashy as Paddy's Pub or as exciting as Emerald City after your shift at work?

Is the pie ever as good as it was at the Pie Hole or the Double R Diner?

What? You think we're crazy? Check out the slideshow and then let us where you'd like to hang out!

1. Emerald City Bar from Grey's Anatomy

Emerald city bar from greys anatomy
When good times are to be had, epic romances to be made and tequila shots to be done, the hot docs go to Joe's bar. Some have worked there, some have made it their best friend. It's a place for memories, and we'd like to made some of our own!

2. Luke's Diner from Gilmore Girls

Lukes diner from gilmore girls
Coffee, burgers, absolutely no cell phones and service that depends upon how Luke is feeling on any given day. And we still want to go.

3. Monk's Cafe from Seinfeld

Monks cafe from seinfeld
You know the guys from Seinfeld, right? Was there anything that didn't annoy the hell out of them? No. Except the food at Monk's. They knew the staff, met there almost every day and loved the food. We trust we would, too.

4. The Double R Diner from Twin Peaks

The double r diner from twin peaks
What was the deal, a slice of cherry pie and a damn fine cup o' coffee? The place looks cool as all get out, kind of like a blast to the past (even before the original Twin Peaks, guys), and the creepy vibe of the town? Well. It calls to us.

5. The Pie Hole on Pushing Daisies

The pie hole on pushing daisies
Let's be honest, the pies wouldn't even have to be good to want to step inside of a restaurant that LOOKS like a giant pie. But these pies are even baked right in the restaurant, so you know they'd be the best. Yes please.

6. Paddy's Irish Pub from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Paddys irish pub from its always sunny in philadelphia
There's not much of a draw here other than the lack of crowds and the desire to see these crazy cats get into some equally crazy scheme. You never know what you might stumble into. It's like a grab box with beer.

These characters are just miserable. They even talk about it.

And you know what we have to say about it?

Don't go changin'!

That's right. We kinda love watching these miserable sots. Not only does their gloom make us feel better about our own lives, it's what makes them tick.

Whether they're good detectives, good doctors, good lovers or just good jackasses, their wretched lives only make them that much better.

1. Meredith - Grey's Anatomy

Meredith greys anatomy
Maybe it's just working where does that makes her so miserable, because it is one of the incurable diseases amongst the staff workers at Grey Sloan, but all the drinking and dancing in the world can't seem to knock the misery out of Meredith's life. Her happiness is infrequent despite having good friends and adorable kids.

2. Harry - The Flash

Harry the flash
So far, Harry isn't downright Evil, so perhaps miserable is a win. And his daughter, Jesse, IS being held in a cage by evil dude, Zoom, and Harry's inability to stop him is forcing his hand to work with him. But still, until we see a genuine smile on this guy's face, there's nothing to say he won't always be hopeful more misery is on the way.

3. Ray - Ray Donovan

Ray ray donovan
Ray could have it all. Alright, his wife, kids and family are all pains in the asses. We'd be miserable if they were our lot in life, too. But he doesn't really do a lot to help the situation. If anything, he just digs himself in deeper, ensuring their happiness at his expense.

4. Quinn - UnREAL

Quinn unreal
On top of the fact she's just a manipulative bitch, Quinn has the added pressure to do both her own work at Chet's, for which he only treats her like a doormat, even stealing and selling her ideas as his. She gets her strength by treating others similarly, which ain't good.

5. Andre - Empire

Andre empire
Is there anything more miserable than having no talent in a talented family? Even though he has a way with business and money, it still doesn't match up to the criminal ways his father can get ahead. His good heart will always come up short.

6. Dougal - Outlander

Dougal outlander
Dougal wants what Jamie has, lock, stock and barrel and there's not a single thing he can do to get it. He's not even happy with the bonny time traveler of his own he has (not that she shares like Claire). Since he can't get what he wants, he'll wallow and try to make everyone around him do the same.

FXX isn't foolin' around today.

They just ordered a double season renewal of their highly rated and very funny comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which just ended it's 11th season.

The Gang Celebrates

Giving the series an additional two years for Season 13 and Season 14 puts it into a tie with the Ozzy and Harriet Show for the longest-running live-action comedy series.

If the series scores a 15th season down the road, it will break the tie – in the year 2020.

“If anyone doubts the power of a camcorder and a dream, just look at It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which was a DIY backyard pilot when Rob, Charlie and Glenn brought it to FX and will go down in TV history as one of the most loved and enduring comedies,” said co-President of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions Nick Grad on Friday.

“Few shows make it this far or have such devoted fans, and we owe it all to the creative vision and great humor of the creators and cast who keep Sunny fresh and inventive every season.”

TV Fanatic Daily Feed: CBS Eyes Sheldon TBBT Spinoff, Stranger Things Casts Trio & More

$

0

The cast of Stranger Things is growing on Netflix.

When Season 2 comes around, Paul Riser, Sean Astin and Linnea Berthelson will also be along for the ride.

ST2 Trio

Reiser will play Dr. Owens, a high-ranking member within the Department of Energy on a “clean-up” assignment, tasked with containing the events of last year.

Astin will be Bob Newby, a kind-hearted former nerd who went to high school with Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Sheriff Hopper (David Harbour) and now manages the local Hawkins RadioShack.

Berthelsen will portray Roman, an emotionally damaged, magnetic young woman who suffered a great loss as a child. Although she doesn't live in Hawkins, she' mysteriously connected to the supernatural events at the lab.

In addition to Ryder and Harbour, they’ll join new series regulars Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery, along with the group we've come to love already, Joe Keery, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Millie Bobby Brown (of course she's back!!).

Geology Book

With The Big Bang Theory Season 10 being the last with everyone on contract, CBS is starting to make plans for a potential spinoff.

While it's fully expected that the wildly successful series will be renewed for another season, if not more, it's time for the stars to start negotiating contracts, and that means possible changes for the upcoming seasons.

The spinoff, titled Sheldon, would focus on the 12-year-old prodigy and all the crazy characters in his life. Hello Meemaw! It would also be partnered with The Big Bang Theory on the schedule, and if successful, be the series to take the place of TBBT when it eventually goes off the air.

Yes, all good things must eventually end.

J Howard

Jonathan Howard has been cast on the upcoming season of The Last Ship as a British Royal Navy Commander and MI-6 agent.

This handsome fellow is described as a cross between James Bond and a Navy SEAL, according to Deadline.

Fletcher is tasked to work with the crew of the USS Nathan James to recover stolen items crucial to the survival of the planet. I can't imagine what they might be, but it sounds a bit like an Indiana Jones situation.

He'll work closely with Sasha Cooper, who’s still with the ship, even in the absence of Capt. Chandler, who walked off Nathan James at the end of The Last Ship Season 3.

Sunny Man

FXX has scheduled the season premieres for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Man Seeking Woman, it was announced today by Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks.

On Wednesday, January 4, Season 12 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will return at 10:00 PM, immediately followed by the Season 3 premiere of Man Seeking Woman at 10:30 PM.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 12 will feature the gang going to a waterpark, dealing with a Wolf Cola PR nightmare and actually spending a whole day tending bar.

Man Seeking Woman Season 3 will see Josh face his toughest challenge yet: a serious, long-term relationship. Together, Josh and Lucy (Katie Findlay) will take on anniversaries, merging friend groups, ruthless drug lords, friendly forest creatures, student loans and even God himself.

Nashville's Chris Carmack confirmed in a tweet that Luke Wheeler, played by Will Chase, will return to the series.

The role, however, will be brief. He's now starring on Time After Time on ABC, but will be in concert on the Nashville Season 5 premiere on its new home on CMT.

That gives fans a whole new reason to tune in if they were afraid things might not be the same with the series they grew to love on ABC.

Even better, something fans always loved and was missing in the later episode, the music, will once again become a focal point of the country-music-business based themed series.

American Housewife

If you've been enjoying American Housewife, you're not alone.

It launched as the highest rated ABC program on Tuesdays right from the start, and has now been given a back nine order of episodes for a full season of 22.

Katy Mixon stars as a flawed, but confident, mom who lives in uptight Westport, CT, where they don't take to flaws of any kind very well. I like to think of it as Odd Mom Out for broadcast networks.

American Woman

Finally, TV Land handed out a series order for American Woman, a series based loosely on the upbringing of co-executive producer Kyle Richards. Set in the '70s, the single camera comedy will star Alicia Silverstone and follow the sexual revolution and feminism.

Silverstone stars as Bonnie, a mother of two girls who, together with her two best friends, struggles to find her independence in a world not ready to give it. Mena Suvari and Jennifer Bartels also star.

"We feel very lucky to be working with John Riggi and John Wells on this fantastic series that is not only beautifully written and directed, but has a stellar cast that portrays the themes of the ‘70s in a way that is still relevant today,” said Keith Cox, president of development and original programming at TV Land.

We all know how stressful the holidays can be. When you're feeling overwhelmed with your own family shenanigans, just remember that things could be worse.

Sure, Grandma Esther might pinch your cheeks and pester you about when you're finally going to settle down, but you're probably not too worried that she's poisoned the cranberry sauce.

So while you're counting to 10 before answering Uncle Carl's borderline bigoted question and avoiding Aunt Linda's attempts to discuss the presidential primaries, just remember things could be worse.

You could be sitting down to dinner with one of these families instead.

1. Game of Thrones: The Lannisters

Wine on tyrion
Game of Thrones is full of terrible families, but the Lannisters are probably the worst. From twincest to attempted fraticide, this family is chock full of sociopaths. When they're not busy trying to kill each other, there are outside threats to worry about. In this family, instead of catching the big game, you're likely to endure the torture of a relative.

2. Tyrant: The Al-Fayeeds

Tyrant premeire pic
Sure, finding out you're set to inherit $100 million sounds great, but not when it comes with this family. Not only did patriarch Jamal rape his daughter-in-law on her wedding night, he accidentally murdered his mother in an attempt to kill his new-found son. With assassination plots, faked deaths, and an inter-family coup, their holiday dinner is sure to make yours look like a cake walk.

3. Scandal: The Popes

Dinner with dad
When your father is the head of a shadowy black ops group and your mother is a terroist, you're off to a bad start. Thanksgiving with the Popes would probably feature killer food from the best chef in town accompanied by the finest wines, but the conversation is sure to be littered with landmines.

4. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: The Johnsons

Skyes choice agents of shield
A family with superpowers and a lot of unresolved angst, secrets, and betrayal? Dinner probably isn't going to end well. Somebody storming out or throwing a dinner roll is nothing in comparison to how this family feud would play out.

5. Empire: The Lyons

Toasting the family empire
You'd think that doing seventeen years in prison for your husband would earn you some spousal loyalty, but not so with the Lyons. Fights in this family are less name calling and more hair-pulling, face-punching, and skull-crushing. You would not want to be stuck in the middle of the stuggle for the last piece of pie.

6. Revenge: The Graysons

At the manor
Sure, this family came to a Hamlet-esque end, but they were pretty terrible while they were still alive. In addition to a variety of crimes and an astounding amount of adultry, they take their revenge fantasies very seriously. Steer clear of this family's dinner table unless you want a carving knife in your back.

Tis the season!

Snowy days, cozy blankets, days off, a fire crackling in the fire place, the smell of pine in the air...

Christmas has a feel to it that no other holiday does. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

In honor of this sacred holiday, I've gathered 25 of the most memorable Christmas episodes on TV. Some are funny and make you laugh; some are heartfelt and leave you comforted; and some are terrifying and make you glad you weren't there.

I've recommended 25 episodes so you can watch one every day leading up to Christmas. If anyone actually does this, please let me know because that would be awesome! Otherwise, feel free to skip around or just pick and choose.

One more thing, there are bound to be Christmas episodes you think are missing so definitely let me know in the comments.

Now, enjoy reliving the Christmas memories of your favorite TV friends and family!

1. Dec. 1st: "The Bracebridge Dinner" - Gilmore Girls

The bracebridge dinner gilmore girls
We begin with Gilmore Girls since I know most of you are going through withdrawals after binge watching season 8 in one day. On this episode, Lorelai and Sookie plan an elaborate meal only to lose their guests when they’re snowed in so they decide to invite the town instead. Throughout the beautifully decorated festivities, Rory pretends she’s not interested in Jess, Luke pretends he’s not interested in Lorelai, and Lorelai’s parents get a much needed mini-vacation. You can watch the full episode on Netflix.

2. Dec. 2nd: "Santa Simulation" - The Big Bang Theory

A girl for koothrappali
It was hard to pick just one Christmas episode from The Big Bang Theory but this is my favorite because it has a girls night out, Raj and Amy sharing hilarious horror stories of dealing with the opposite sex and a soft side of Sheldon. On this episode, the guys plan a Christmas themed Dungeons and Dragons game where Santa is kidnapped. When the girls learn they're not allowed to play they get dressed up to show the guys what they're missing and go out for drinks. Raj ends up tagging along which provides some of the funniest moments of the episode. During the game, we learn that Sheldon hates Christmas because he asked Santa to bring his Pop Pop back from the dead when he was 5 and all he got was lincoln logs. You can watch the full episode on CBS All Access.

3. Dec. 3rd: "The Strike" - Seinfeld

The strike seinfeld
A Festivus for the rest of us! Kramer wants to resurrect the forgotten holiday which George's dad invented as an alternative to the commercialism of Christmas. We also find out Kramer's been on strike for 12 years and finally goes back to work at a bagel shop only to go on strike again when they refuse to give him time off for Festivus. Elsewhere on the episode, Elaine is trying to track down a guy she gave a fake number to because she accidently wrote it on the back of her free sub card and George creates a fake charity so he doesn't have to give Christmas gifts to his co-workers. It's a classic Seinfeld episode and one of the best of its last season. You can watch the full episode on Hulu.

4. Dec. 4th: "A Very Sunny Christmas" - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Very sunny christmas pic
Dennis and Dee are their usual whiny, entitled selves as they complain that Frank buys the presents they want and keeps them for himself. This year it’s a Lamborghini and a designer purse. Charlie and Mac reminisce about their childhoods which turn out to be horrific as Charlie discovers his mom was banging multiple “Santas” and Mac’s family was breaking into other people’s houses and stealing their presents. As usual the group is at their worst and it's awesome. Uplifting? No. Heartfelt? Not at all. The episode ends with them throwing rocks at trains because it’s really the only thing they have left to hold onto. You can watch the full episode on Hulu or Netflix.

5. Dec. 5th: "Christmas in the Car" - Bob's Burgers

Christmas in the car bobs burgers
This episode reminds me so much of 2001's Joy Ride. The Belchers head out on Christmas Eve to get a new tree after their first two die. While out, they cut off the driver of a candy cane truck who responds by chasing them. In their attempts to avoid him they end up spending Christmas Eve and the first few hours of Christmas in the car. Meanwhile, back at their house, Teddy stops by to turn off the oven and ends up stealing the episode. You can find current episodes of Bob's Burgers on Fox Now.

6. Dec. 6th: "The Best Chrismukkah Ever" - The OC

The best chrismukkah ever the oc
This episode will always be remembered for Summer's gift to Seth -- her in a Wonder Woman outfit. I mean, DAMN. The girl looked amazing. Anna was great but we all knew she didn’t stand a chance. Although Seth was forced to pick between the two girls, he will never have to choose between his mother’s waspy Christmas and his dad’s Jewish Hannukah because he created the best holiday ever – Chrismukkah. Eight days of presents followed by one day of many presents. The fact that it was Ryan’s first Christmas with the Cohens only made it that much more special. You can watch the full episode on Hulu.

There are the lawyers that do good – Jack McCoy, Marshall Eriksen, Sandy Cohen.

Then there are the lawyers that look good – Jessica Pearson, Olivia Pope, Harvey Specter.

Finally there are the lawyers that make you question the entire legal profession – wait, actually that's most of them. We don't have the time or space to make that list right now.

Love them or hate them, lawyers serve a vital purpose in our litigious society.

They fight for the wrongly accused; prosecute dangerous criminals; educate and shape young minds; and all in all try to make this world a better place.

There are bound to be lawyers I forgot, so don't hesitate to add your favorites in the comments.

And remember to watch The Good Fight on CBS All Access, Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 8:00 PM ET.

Now without further ado...

1. Will Gardner - The Good Wife

Josh charles as will gardner the good wife
Will Gardner, played by Josh Charles, was a ladies man and a cunning attorney. We got to see his romantic side through his relationship with Alicia and his loyal and supportive side through his friendship with Diane. He was flawed, but an all around good person. The Good Wife season 5 episode 15 will go down as one of the most shocking, heart breaking episodes in series history.

2. Annalise Keating - How to Get Away with Murder

Annalise keating
Portrayed by SAG and Emmy award winning actress Viola Davis, Annalise is a passionate attorney with a troubled past and present. She fights vigorously for her clients but also ends up on the wrong side of the court room from time to time. She has complicated relationships with everyone in her life and though she tries to be a good person she is usually unsuccessful.

3. Barry Zuckerkorn - Arrested Development

Barry zuckerkorn
Arrested Development was just renewed for Season 5, and I'm seriously hoping we see Henry Winkler's character again. In later seasons he may have been fired and replaced by Bob Boblaw, who was equally incompetant, but the Bluth's need someone who knows their true crazy and still defends them vigorously. Or at least tries to. Sometimes. Even if he has no idea what he's doing.

4. Jackie Chiles - Seinfeld

Jackie chiles
Everyone knows Jackie Chiles, portrayed hilariously by Phil Morris, was based on Johnnie Cochran. They both wear glasses, have mustaches, and are well-dressed with a penchant for grandiose vocabulary. Jackie Chiles was initially brought on to represent Kramer but he ended up playing a crucial role in the series finale thanks to the gang's "lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous" behavior.

5. Erin Reagan - Blue Bloods

Erin reagan
Erin Reagan, played by Bridget Moynahan, is the daughter of police commissioner Frank Reagan, a New York County Assistant District Attorney and a single mother. She's dealt with shootings inside courtrooms, hostage situations, and physical assualts but she remains strong. An avid gun owner with a preference for glocks, she is the best shot in the Reagan family.

6. Jack McCoy - Law & Order

Jack mccoy
Sam Waterson played Jack McCoy from 1994 - 2010. He started out as the Executive Assistant District Attorney before becoming the New York County District Attorney. Jack had a difficult childhood which no doubt affects his adult relatiomnships. He's been divorced twice, has a strained relationship with his daughter and tends to have inappropriate relationships with his subordinates. When it comes to law, he's willing to bend the rules a little if it means justice will be served.

4. Joe (Grey's Anatomy)

Joe greys anatomy
Owner of The Emerald City Bar across from the hospital, Joe could take a little credit for Meredith and Derek's love story. In the very least, he was the person who watched them meet for the first time. And when he collapsed in the bar, he was lucky to be surrounded by doctors, and received an out of the ordinary operation that saved his life. It's a been a while since we've seen good old Joe, though there's no explanation to why that is.

5. Luke Cage (Jessica Jones / Luke Cage)

Luke cage jessica jones slash luke cage
Luke Cage is likely the coolest bartender on this list. We first see him appear on Jessica Jones when she stops by his bar, but we quickly learn his bartending abilities are nothing compared to his superhuman abilities.

6. Dee (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia)

Dee its always sunny in philadelphia
True, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Dee isn't exactly what you'd call a skilled bartender -- or a friendly one -- but she certainly is memorable!

2. Mike Lawson - Pitch

Mike lawson pitch
Does anyone remember Pitch season 1 episode 7 where the whole team decided to pose nude when naked pictures of Ginny were released? If you saw it, you remember. If you didn't, feast your eyes on the glorious image above. Mike Lawson, portrayed by everyone's 90's crush, Mark Paul Gosselaar, did not disappoint when he stood up for his teammate in said episode.

3. Jane Chapman - Big Little Lies

Three mothers big little lies season 1 episode 5
Jane Chapman has a complicated past. She is literally and figuratively running from it, and sometimes even toward it, on Big Little Lies season 1. Running helps her get out her frustrations and clear her mind. It also keeps her thin which is important since a figure from her past caused some insecurities about her weight.

4. Nathan Scott - One Tree Hill

Nathan scott number 23 one tree hill
Nathan Scott lived for basketball. His dream was to play collegiately before eventually joining the NBA. Before he met his wife, the sport was all he cared about and he focused all his time and effort on mastering it. When he wasn't on the court, he was in the gym or practicing on the hoop in his driveway.

5. Chris Traeger - Parks and Recreation

Not only does he eat extremely healthy but he works out constantly and hopes to be the first human to live to be 150 years old. Portrayed by well known actor Rob Lowe, Chris is also very positive and upbeat which one could assume is a result of all the endorphins.

15 TV Shows That Nearly Had Terrible Titles

Can you imagine if Grey's Anatomy or This is Us had been given different titles?

Would Buffy the Vampire Slayer have been received any differently as simply Slayer?

Those shows, and several others, were almost given some pretty bad titles. Check them out below!

1. This is Us

Detour this is us
It's hard to imagine NBC's smash hit going by any other name, but before the title This is Us was chosen, the working title for the show was actually 36, -- the ages Jack, Kate, Randall, and Kevin all turn on the pilot episode.

2. Friends

Friends cast photo
There were apparently several titles that were considered before landing on the title Friends. Other possibilities for the popular comedy included Six of One and Across the Hall.

3. The Good Wife

A look back the good wife
The CBS drama The Good Wife had a few other possibilities as well. Among the titles condiered were The Whole Truth, In the Spotlight, and Leave the Bastard. I don't know about you, but I'm a fan of that last one.

4. New Girl

Coach has a surprise new girl
Here's a fun one. Before it was New Girl, a title that was seriously considered for the Zooey Deschanel led comedy was Chicks and Dicks. Under that title, the show was more about the sex lives of the roommates, but as the plot was developed, it changed focus, and the title was changed along with it.

5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

High school buffy the vampire slayer
Would Buffy the Vampire Slayer have been received differently with another title? The series was nearly titled something a bit simpler: Slayer. That just doesn't have the same ring to it.

6. Grey's Anatomy

The consultant greys anatomy
While it's hard to imagine the Shondaland favorite with any other name, Grey's Anatomy was nearly called Surgeons and was also changed briefly to Complications while the show was in development.

11 Terrible Episodes of Great Shows

$

No television show is perfect. While some series are clearly superior to others in writing, acting, and directing, all great TV shows have moments that make their fans want to scream.

These bad episodes are impossible to enjoy because we know the show is capable of more, and the circumstances often make us too uncomfortable to warrant a rewatch. The characters we love don't feel like themselves, and the writing can be lazy and/or obnoxious. They're simply not entertaining.

So, let's explore 11 terrible episodes of beloved shows!

What are some of your least favorite episodes of TV? Be sure to share them with us!

1. "Access" - The West Wing

Access the west wing
"Access" earned Allison Janney her fourth Emmy Award for playing CJ Cregg. Aside from Janney's always sublime performance, though, "Access" is a disaster.

In The West Wing Season 5 Episode 18, a documentary camera crew follows CJ Cregg around the West Wing to see what a typical day is like for the press secretary. It lacks a lot of what we love about The West Wing, such as the famous walk-and-talks and the talented ensemble of the show. Instead, it uses documentary narration and talking heads like a bad episode of The Office.

When Aaron Sorkin left the show at the end of season 4, it never really got its groove back. "Access," though, is even more difficult to watch because it follows what is definitively the greatest post-Sorkin episode, "The Supremes." How could they go from that wonderful hour of television to this? "Access" is a hot mess from start to finish.

2. "Scott's Tots" - The Office

Scotts tots the office season 6
Michael Scott grew a lot over his years as Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton. In The Office Season 6 Episode 12, we learn that Michael once promised a class of underprivileged kids that he would pay their college tuition when they graduated high school. Unfortunately, when the time comes for Michael to pay up, he's unable to do so. To make up for it, he gives them batteries for their laptops.

It's uncomfortable and absolutely not funny to watch. These children were counting on him, and now, there's a chance they won't be able to attend college. By season 6, Michael Scott was a beloved character and boss. This episode, though, makes us hate Michael all over again.

3. "Song Beneath the Song" - Grey's Anatomy

Song beneath the song greys anatomy season 7
Grey's Anatomy cast members Chandra Wilson and Tony winner Sara Ramirez are incredible singers. Their obvious talent, though, is not enough to make it through this musical episode of Grey's Anatomy. For me, Grey's Anatomy Season 7 Episode 18 was the beginning of the end. I've completely stopped watching this show, and my love for it started to truly deteriorate with this episode.

Ramirez's Callie Torres is in a car accident, and while she is being treated at the hospital, she imagines that everyone around her is singing. Music has always been important on Grey's Anatomy. In fact, every episode is named after a popular song. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean an episode where the cast sings is a good idea. Most of the actors aren't singers, making it an awkward and unwatchable hour of television.

4. "Last Forever" - How I Met Your Mother

Last forever how i met your mother
Series finales are obviously difficult. It's tough to wrap up a show that's been on for years in a neat package that will satisfy all of your viewers. Before the series finale of How I Met Your Mother, though, a show never became completely unwatchable due to its terrible ending.

How I Met Your Mother spent nine years building up to the ending. That's what the show's entire focus was. How exactly did Ted meet the mother of the kids he's telling the story to, and is every single moment he's been sharing actually important to the ending?

How I Met Your Mother Season 9 centered around the wedding of Barney and Robin, only to find them getting a divorce in the finale. The show spent nine years focusing on how Ted met the mother of his kids to have her die in the end. He basically spent nine years telling his kids this story so that he could ask for permission to date Robin.

In How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Episodes 23 and 24, the writers of How I Met Your Mother made the rest of their show impossible to revisit. Now that we know the answers to the questions of the previous seasons, and how terrible those answers are, the other 206 mostly fantastic episodes are a waste of time.

5. "Frank's Brother" - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Franks brother its always sunny in philadelphia season 7
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 7 is one of the show's best. Unfortunately, it includes what most Sunny fans agree is the worst episode of the entire series: "Frank's Brother."

In It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 7 Episode 5, Frank's estranged brother arrives at Paddy's Pub, and the two fight. They then proceed to tell the gang their story, prompting flashbacks to the 1960s and 70s when they worked in a jazz club with a woman named Shadynasty.

It's a drastic step away from the show's humor and barely features the other four members of the gang. Frank is the most morally reprehensible member of the terrible group. The other four, though, make Frank a semi-tolerable character in small doses. In a season full of gems, an episode featuring Frank this much is a huge disappointment.

6. "Here Comes the Son" - Gilmore Girls

Here comes the son gilmore girls
At one point, Jess Mariano was supposed to get his own television show, and "Here Comes the Son" from Gilmore Girls Season 3 serves as a backdoor pilot for his spinoff. In it, Jess travels to California to attempt to build a relationship with his long-lost father, but the episode is boring.

Jess was always my favorite of Rory's three terrible boyfriends, but he was never interesting enough to carry his own show. Why they wanted to give him a spinoff is beyond me, but Gilmore Girls Season 3 Episode 21 is uncomfortable. Even the short moments in Stars Hollow aren't that exciting and make the episode completely skippable during rewatches.
